Rose Buds

We have a wild rose bush/shrub that is in the woods behind our house. My dad mentioned it the last time I bought rose buds.

Would the buds off of it be safe for the chinchillas?

If so, how do I prepare them or dry them?

Honestly? We stick our buds in the food dehydrator. We're lazy though. Make sure you pick the buds when theyre dry, so not first thing in the morning or after the dew has set. Hth.

Last year I just let them air dry.....but agree, don't pick when their dewy..
