Pulling at whiskers?

Hey there, maybe someone out there has some insight on this.

My 5 year old female has been pulling at her right whiskers for the last couple of days. She's not touching her mouth at all, just continuously pulling at the whiskers like she's vigorously grooming. It almost seems as though it's hurting or itching her.

She's active, alert, eating, chewing, and pooping like normal.

Anyone run into anything like this before?

She may have gotten something on her whiskers, maybe a liquid like urine, and is trying to clean it off.

Maybe she is grooming them, which I guess, goes with cleaning something off them.

Or she has new whiskers coming in and is pulling the older ones off or something.

I didn't even think of the possibility of growing new ones in. Der.

I'll keep an eye on her and take her in if this continues much longer, but hopefully it's just a new or ingrown whisker that's annoying her.
