Hi my friend has a Pink White male. She doesn't know how old he is.

She asked me if it was normal for his tail to change color. He is all white but his tail had gradually been changing from all white to grey. I know that Mosaics will change color over time but I wasn't sure if it was normal for a Pink White to change colors. I thought they pretty much stayed white.

Is this normal? Would this indicate that he is getting older? Would this indicate that he is not a pure Pink White? He has red eyes and pink ears. As I mentioned she doesn't know how old he is.

My pink/white is changing all the time. It's normal. He has a 'dirty' look to him because much of his fur is tipped with beige. He also has a big beige spot on his side.

I have a pink white and she was all white when I got her. Maybe a tiny, tiny bit of tint on her head. But now she is all white but her tail is sort of beige from the base of her tail halfway to the tip. The rest of her tail is white. She hasn't changed much recently but as she grew into an adult her tail got darker. She is still an absolute beauty.

My 2 pink white boys started with all white fur except Jumble has beige marks on his face, now they both have a dark circle near the base of their tails, and their tails are light beige color all over instead of white now. Also Bumble showed a beige spot near his furry butt which wasn't there before. I think it's all normal.

My very first chinchilla puff's tail and face did that.
He started out pure white all over and in the past six months his face has developed a light gray triangle on his forehead and his tail is turning the same.

It's normal.
