I don't know if this is in the wrong spot, but if it is please let me know.


Well I was considering on getting a chinchilla and was wondering if I would be able to give them Timothy pellets like you do with guinea pigs?

Also, Could you use grids for a cage? If not, what type of cage do you recommend for them and how big does it have to be for 2 or more?

Thank you so much for the links. I want to do as much research as I can before I get them.

Also what do you use for the bedding?

I use aspen shavings. You can use aspen, kiln dried pine, or fleece.
