My First Pair of Chins!

Just got my two boy chinchillas and I love them so much already! After doing TONS of research i finally decided i wanted a chinchilla and ended up with two! They came as a pair and they are pretty bonded with each other, always in a chin pile. Their old owners were terrible and left them pretty skittish! Keeping them in direct sunlight so much that their cage turned pink from purple, leaving the dust bath in 24/7 so that it had pee and poop in it, having them in the living room with big dogs running around, everything plastic, and they never got any love! I have since transferred them to a Ferret Nation with lots of toys and hammocks and they've already warmed up to me with chinchilla kisses and chin scratches.

They look like the change has been really hard on them lol, the cage looks awesome. I wish more people would do research before they got the animal.
