Hello, everyone!
I'm new to the forum, but not to hedgies. My last hedgie, a chocolate girl named Teeny, died aged 7 in 2011. Last month, I finally got a new girl, named Honey.
The photo won't preview, but perhaps someone can help me show it.
All of my hedgies have been "volunteer" program animals for The Nature Connection, http://nature-connection.org/, which shares art and wildlife with children and seniors in institutions.
They go on visits from 0 - 4 times each month, so need to be well socialized.
Honey was donated by Hamor Hollow Hedgehogs in New Hampshire, but her previous owner, who just left for school, didn't tell me her exact age.
I have a second home in Maine, but Hedgies are restricted there under an exotics law, so she has a sitter when I'm there.
I look forward to learning and sharing with you all!
Jane
