Hereditary or Environmental...is there a way to tell the difference? Signs? Symptoms? Age? Difference in treatment?

Both, malo can strike any chin at any age, if a chin has teeth is can get malo . I lean towards heredity when the chin is young and afflicted, older chins eating patterns and husbandry are more of a influence. There is no "treatment" there is only pallative care.
