Cleaning my boy's cage tonight and he's attacking the shop vac as usual. He's never been afraid of it. Tonight he shoved his nose through the cage bars and actually licked the air. First time I've ever seen his little tongue swipe out that far. It must tickle his whiskers too because his paw comes up to brush them and he goes right back again... Any body else have a crazy shop vac sucker??

aww that's so funny! None of mine attack the shop vac, but I think every single chin jumps simultaneously when I turn it on. You think they would be used to it by now since I use it almost every day!

Mine doesn't seem to care about loud noises. I vacuum out his cage with him in it and sometimes he will get curious and try to go near the hose. I don't want to hurt since it's a stron vacuum, but I do let him explore a bit. He never seems to jump when I turn it on either. XD
