Just thought I post this in case theres someone out there still attempting to construct their own wheels.

I found this http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70174742
Besides the plastic cover its about the right dimensions and about the same price as a cooking pan. I have no clue if the Polypropylene and Stainless Steel is ideal for a chin but nonetheless enjoy ;)

That shows promise. Nice find. I'll have to see if there's and IKEA near me.

From the product description:

Main parts: Polypropylene
Frame: Stainless steel
Front: Polycarbonate plastic
Width: 16 1/8"
Height: 5 7/8"
Length: 16 1/8"
Weight: 5lb
Quantity: 1

Strip away the plastic parts looks like you kind of wind up with a 16 1/8" x 5 7/8" wheel.

Im going up to the twin cities hopefully over spring break, may have to make a stop at IKEA!

whomever attempts this first, please let us know. i used a construction pan. they liked it, but its a little heavy and they have a hard time turning it for long.
