Help with american mesure

I bought a mag during my last trip in US and I'd like to do one of the reciepes. However, there's a mesure I don't understand cause we don't use it in Quebec: what's a quart? 1 quart, 2 quarts ? How many millilitres is that? For exemple they mention use one quart of this for 2 quarts of that. Is it only like if I use 1/4 cup of the first one, I use double the other one? Or is it a specific quantity?

A quart equals 4 cups (or 32 ounces)

One US quart is 946.353 ml.

Google is great for doing conversions. I typed "1 quart to ml" in the Google search bar and got the answer. :thumbsup:

Menagerie, you are correct in regards to the US Quart.

The Canadian Quart is 1134ml
