Hi! I'm Rylla and I got my first hedgie almost 6 months ago. Her name is Ruby and she's nearly 1 year old. I'd just found the CnH forum this morning while doing some reseach and was excited to have such a good resource to hedgie behavior and health!
This morning, while watching Ruby play with her tubes, I stuck my hand in her cage to see if she'd let me give her a little affection. I was really surprised when she not only sniffed my fingers but actually climbed onto my hand! This is the first time she has done anything so bold, so I took her out and let her run around on me and gave her a little cuddle before letting her get back to tubing. Anyway, its nice to be able to tell someone who'd be as excited as I was about our "bonding" moment
