Hey everybody!
I am the extremely happy mother of two wonderful chinchillas. My husband and I have been researching chins and hedgies since we started dating but we never settled down to get one. A couple weeks ago, two lovely sisters were in need of rescuing and we felt prepared to step up to the plate!
Our friends rescued the chins from a Petsmart- (where they had been dropped off!) and spent a year taking care of and socializing them. Unfortunately they're moving and cannot take the girls with them.
They are (estimated) 4 years old and full of sass. They're a little stressed out and jumpy right now but love to come up and sniff our hands. They will also permit chin scratches, which I'm thankful for!
So here's to Bamf and The Professor! Wish our little girls well, because we plan to keep them around ... forever.
