Good bye Sunny

Sunny, a standard shoots male, color phase champ passe away today. After 8 wonderful years of hearing him answer me when I called his name and hearing him chatter at me with each nightly kit feeding. I woke up for Grace's feeding and he was nearly gone, We tried getting to the vet but he passed away In the waiting room. He was Daddy to so many in my herd and is irriplacable for so many many reasons and will be missed for ever I am not sure how I made it through the day. He had GI issues and went into shock in a matter of 3 hours (between Kit feedings for Grace)

My poor nephew who is 8 just said. "I am so sorry Aunt Kristy you can have buddy (his chinchilla) because he is grey and pretty too. I will wait for another chinchilla from you" That set off a whole new set of tears to have such a little man try such a sweet thing. :cry3:

He was such a beautiful boy with so much personality. The chin room is already different without him.

I have some Pm's about stuff to answer but I am barely functioning at the moment. I will try to respond tonight I am very sorry.
