<---chins in a jar
I have a standard chin, Pandora, that is just over 3 years old. I took her out of her cage today and noticed that she had a lot of fur sticking out. Not the tufts you see when they get it caught on something or when there's a fur slip, but so much that it gave her a gauzy, "halo" effect. So I grabbed a show comb and combed her out and removed a TON of fur. I couldn't believe all the fur that ended up on the comb. I've groomed chins before and have never seen this. I didn't see fur floating around in her cage, and she is alone in her cage. There were no bald spots or anything. But the fur, which looked like dead fur, were in such copious amounts that I was taken aback. With all the chins i'v had, I've never seen this before.
