freckles

Does anyone know what raised freckles on a chin's ears could mean? I can't find any info besides that freckles are harmless unless they are raised.

Could it be dry flaking skin? If so it could be a sign of fungus, skin irritation or just simple dry skin from over dusting. Can you post a pic?

I've never heard of a raised freckle.

I don't recall seeing anything like you've described. It could be something like a harmless human mole or a soft scab. I would keep an eye on it and if it gets bigger or looks like it is infected would take the chin to the vet. Don't think it's something to worry about.

Took her to the vet today. She said it was most likely a wound with pigmentation. Nothing to worry about unless it grows which she doubts will happen. Thanks for the replys
