First aid wound ointment suggestion?

I cant use blu-kote. Chin has a skin tear and I need a suggestion. Link would be great!

if you can't use blue kote i believe you can use genetian violet (sp?) found at walgreens.

For some reason blu kote gives me the worst hives...like 50mg of benadryl hives and Jolie lips.

Gentian Violet is one of the main ingredients in Blue Kote, so be careful with that too. Maybe wearing gloves and a mask would help? Sorry about that, allergic reactions are the worst.
