i wouldn't have the death ball in there.
i mean i know you have it opened so that he can sleep in there..
but it's plastic.

I have had ball swings in the cage in the past, chins I had never touched the plastic to chew and they were great fun. Any sign of chewing ball should go. The wheel appears to be too small, what is the diameter of the wheel? It should be at least 14 in. Chin is a cutie BTW!

Couldnt you maybe tie the fleece in and around the breathing holes and the edge of the death ball, that way the edge isnt exposed....Im pretty sure someone did that on here and it looked pretty cool

the wheel is 16 inches in diameter, and Ein never chews on any plastic, if he did, i wouldnt have the ball in there
