Disinfecting toys and items in the cage?

How do you guys go about doing this? Any tips? It's about time to give my chinchilla cage a really good scrubbing.

How big is the cage and what is it made of?

You can pretty much clean any cage with white vinegar and warm water, whether it's wood or plastic. If it's all metal, and portable, I've taken wire cages to the car wash and power washed them.

Hello guys,

The cage is about 6 feet tall and 2 feet wide. It's made out of powder coated metal. The bottom is plastic, but my chinch can't reach so, so it's safe. Thanks for the suggestions
