Critter Nation Cage??

I notice some of you don't have the middle section in your cages and have it open. Would that be safe for a 3 month old? I have a guy comming tomorrow to make shelves and ledges for the cages and was wondering if I should remove the divider?

From what I have read on other threads it is very important to make sure that there is not a long distance that the chin can fall. I've noticed that some people stretch out a double hammock where the divider used to be. Search the FN thread and I'll bet you'll come up with lots of good ideas to arrange the cage safely
But you don't have to remove your divider!
