Chin chewing on back toes

Recently i noticed 2 sores on the toes of my chins back feet. I had thought that he had injured them perhaps jumping on his ledges, but i noticed him chewing on his toes. Does anyone have any ideas how i could stop this? or why he would even do this?:hmm:

Normally chins chew themselves raw if they have pain in that area. I would really take the chin to the vet.

Going to a vet is your best option chinchillas really do not knaw on themselves for no reason it is a sign of pain
