Ash Wood?

Is Ash wood safe for chins? I saw it on a list online, but wanted to ask. I have several ash trees around me that would be great for them if it is safe. Any experienced owners know? It seems to be on some lists but not on others.

I stick to apple and pear branches as I have seen it on the safe and the unsafe list..when In doubt I just don't use

I have given my boys ash and they loved it. I don't recall seeing it on any unsafe lists.
