Same thing happened to my chin years ago he started chewing on his finger though...took him to vet got fingers amputated and he wore an E-collar. Keep an keen eye on your chin. Blue-Kote it up and would probably be best to take him to a vet. Chins are the best at hiding pain.

Separating them is probably best or you might have lost fingers next. :-( Not sure what the cage looks like but if it is one big cage with a wire divider in the middle...maybe change that divider to a solid wood panel instead. Chin-safe woods are noted on this forum. Wishing you the best!

Might be considered a light-medium tan. It kinda of depends on what color lines the mom and dad came from too.

Thanks everyone! That was the first and only snack shack we bought for that very reason. These pics are quite old. We had that cage, toys, etc almost 4-5 years ago. Definitely gained a lot more knowledge since then.
