Sounds great :) My girl huffed and balled up so easily as well. She uncurled faster if I put her face down on my hand or another surface. Just keep giving him time and attention (and make sure its not hibernation! :P )

My girl did the same thing for awhile at that age. Someone else on here told me to just wash her wheel in warm/hot water. sometimes the hedgies won't like the smell of other cleaners we use on it. Seemed to work!

Hey all, update: Chi is doing better now. I never did take her to a vet. Her quill loss has basically stopped. Its warm enough now in the mid-south so I take her outside to get some sun and fresh air. Whatever it was before, it seems to be gone now. She does play on her wheel at night as well. :)
