Apollo, our Ambilobe panther chameleon, died this past Friday. He hadn't been looking too well since we moved this summer, but it got really bad within the past two weeks. It's sad because he was such a little guy, but he wasn't in good shape when we got him, and he really seemed like he was ready. He didn't enjoy climbing anymore (to translate into chinchilla, it would be like a chin no longer wanted to jump and play), and he refused to eat. He went peacefully.
We are looking forward to breeding our veileds in the next few months, so hopefully that will work out. Eventually we will get another panther, but we need to save up some money first.
