Urine Stains

I'm in the process of litter pan training my two boys, and they tend to pee on top of their wooden house sometimes. I spray it with a 50/50 vinegar and water solution, wipe it with a wet rag, and then air dry. That doesn't help the stains though, so does anyone know any chin-safe ways to remove a decent amount of urine stains on wood?

I know with ledges you can just sand them down, you have to sand down as deep as the pee has stained in, not sure that is an option with the house though.

I've seen some talk about using hydrogen peroxide, do you recommend it?
