This one is bound to be pic heavy...I had her for awhile.

06/23/07 - 01/03/09

Wonderful mother to Preema and Finn

Here she is showing off her fur...I swear she knew she had nice fur because this Chinchilla would start posing the minute you got out the camera...

With her daughter Preema, whom she stayed cage mates with while her son went to live with the father (Boo)

After Preema died she lost the light from her eyes...we tried really hard to make her happy after that, but we failed. I feel that she wanted to be with her daughter. This is the very last picture I took of Peekers. We gave her a "cuddle buddy" and she held it close for the first 2 nights before she got frustrated, realizing it wasn't Preema...Friday night (01/02/09) she went to live with my other 2 females after a week long re-introduction (after getting pregnant she didn't like them anymore...so that she wouldn't be so lonely, we wanted the 3 of them to live together again). It all seemed fine, but the next morning when I came to check on them, Penny and Pheebe were huddled over her...within 5 minutes she was gone. She went into Stasis...She had tried really hard...showing me that she was eating, but she hadn't been eating enough and it killed her.
She's now cuddling, playing, taking dust bathes, eating lots of raisins, and having her "water bottle wars" with her daughter...together forever. R.I.P mama Peek

It was HARD, lemme tell ya. It was one thing to lose her daughter, but to have 2 heartbreaks in a week...ugh. She died a week to the day and almost to the hour that her daughter did...crazy huh?

I am so sorry. It is so hard to lose furry babies you love so much.May your chinnies rest in peace.

That is such a sad story shes beautiful sorry for your loss.

This truly breaks my heart. She looks so much like my Chauncey girl, which makes this even harder to read. I am so very sorry.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a chin is always tough. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. :flowers4:

It sounds like she may have died from a broken heart. She's with her baby now, forever, and they're both your Chinnie Angels. :hearts:

:cry2:

Well everyone...its been a hard day here...Peekers would have been 2 years old today.

I hope she's having a celebratory raisin with her babies...:HBballoons5:

We'll miss you and :heart5: you forever and ever Peek-Peek
