Please sign this petition http://www.thepetitionsite.com/44/save-the-sea-otter/ to get rid of the No-Otter Zone in California. Sea otters are protected outside of the zone, but those that unwittingly swim into the zone are allowed to be harassed or killed. The zone runs from Point Conception to the Mexican border, that's approximately 300 miles of coast that is unprotected.

A few weeks ago a lone sea otter was sighted at Zuniga Point in San Diego. It would be awesome to see them in the wild here.

I love sea otters - they are my favourite animal (besides chins, of course ;) ) - I went all the way to San Diego to see them & it would have been beyond awesome to see them in the wild rather than at Sea World & Aquarium of the Pacific.

I voted
