My Pride and Joy...

Last year I purchased a gorgeous extra dark ebony male bred by Whitewoods as a non-breeder. He had taken Grand Show Champion at the MCBA Nationals in 2007 and hadn't produced for the rancher he belonged to. He had difficulty cleaning his hair rings, so I guessed that was part of the reason why he hadn't produced in the past, though he could be sterile. I figured I could give it a try, why not? Well, after he didn't produce for me, I found him a good pet home, and come to find out, he wasn't sterile after all.

Yesterday, I was happy to find Z18 and Z19, Oxygen and Fluorine, my newest cuddlebugs. Two gorgeous extra dark eb kits - female and male. Their dam is a gorgeous standard named Penelope - Kirby's dam I have been waiting for these kits for so long.

The lady who has him is very nice and is working it out with me. I couldn't have asked for a better mom for him. I have a chance to get him back, but we'll just see how these two turn out.
