I have heard a LOT of debate all over the internet of the proper hedgehog cage size. So I was wondering if my idea of buying a 4x3 was too small? Some people say they need 6 square feet of space, some say 15 square feet of space, so I am unsure. :confused3:

4 by 3 as in 4 cubes length and 3 cubes width? Provided you're using standard cubes, yep, should work just fine.

USDA requires 2 sq ft but you can't fit all the suggested supplies in that size cage. Generally on forums 4 sq ft minimum is suggested. That's just enough for a wheel at one end, food and water bowls at the other end, and a hedgie bag or blanket in the middle.
