I got a marble slab for my chinchilla to use as a cooling stone, much cheaper than a chin-chiller I must say.. But how can I get it to stick on to my shelves? It lays on the shelf fine, but my chin keeps jumping on and off of the shelf which effectively causes the darn thing to slide off onto the bottom of her cage. I also feel like this could injure her by falling on her or her being on it when it falls, so, any ideas?

I suppose if you think about it, there's really no way for the chin to actually get to the wood glue..

As long as it's non toxic wood glue, it's fine. Many people use wood glue for their houses and lipped shelves.

Elmers wood glue is absolutely fine and is actually recommended when it comes to putting together chinnie houses, shelves, etc.
