How Do I Give A Dust Bath To A Chin That Has Bumblefoot?

My chin has minor bumblefoot, and he hasn't had a dust bath in over a week. I know I shouldn't give him a full dust bath, but at the same time he'd never let me just pat dust onto him. I feel like if I hold him I'd just get my skin oils all over him from him squirming. I tried asking the vet, but she's currently out of office. Advice?

I would just hold off on bathes until they are all healed up. Although the chin will end up kinda of greasy by the end, it wont actually harm it, but getting dirty dust into the wound can make the infection worse.
