hair ring

my boy mochi might have a hair ring. i was able to calmly get him by his scruff in order to turn him over and there isn’t a ring but there is something that looks like a flat “clump” on his private parts. it’s so flat i can’t tell if it’s like a mark on it or if it’s fur. i wasn’t able to get it off but i’m planning on calling the vet tomorrow. any advice beforehand?

Ok hair rings can occur on the penis itself, which is inside the cone, you shouldn't beable to see it normally. It's several inches long and you have to gently pull it out to see all the way to the base to check for hair rings. Based on what you said I'm guessing what you mean is there is a mark on the cone? Freckles are normal if that is what you are looking at, but best to just get a vet to take a look if you are concerned.
