Chinchilla Mama
I just purchased a bag of Grreat Choice Pine Bedding (it is kiln dried) for my chinchilla and I want to know if it is safe to use?
I have been hearing mixed reviews when it comes to using pine bedding, and I don't want to put my chinchilla at risk for respiratory illnesses.
Also, what is the difference between kiln dried pine and aspen bedding? Why is one considered safer than the other?
Note:
-I am currently mixing the pine bedding in with what I have left of my paper pet bedding.
-I do not have bedding covering the entire bottom of her cage- it is all in one corner pan that she uses for her bathroom.
