I opened Astrids cage and while she was out and i was petting her a huge chunk of fur stayed on my hand.
She is behaving normally and eating and pooping normally.
The only thing is she is sleeping alot due to heat despite that i have a/c and marble tiles in her cage.
Showing you below photo of the Astrid and of the hair that fell.
Should i take her to the vet?or is it just shedding?

Lets try again on the image thing...
You can clearly see in the last pic where the hair came off.

It looks like a standard fur slip to me. Make sure you aren't pulling the fur at all or scaring her when you go to pick her up or hold her.

She is not the being picked up type of girl.
Will keep in mind though to check if something is scaring her or stressing her out.

hey. fur slip is common, its a natural defensive mechanism they have, if caught by predator in the wild the fur would slip and they could get away easily. it happens when scared, if shes not the picking up kinda gal it will happen, so slow approach and go from underneath when you pick her up if possible, less stress. don't worry, no harm done, wont hurt her!
