Hi,
I’ve never had a fur chewer before. Not sure if my girl is chewing.
She shares her cage with her BFF and they get along very well. Her cagemate does have mild malo, needs trimming about once a year. She is about due for her trim. No real symptoms right now, just a little pawing at the mouth and occasional wetness around one eye. I take her to the vet every few months to check on her.
It’s possible malo girl, who sleeps cuddled up with Snow, has been drooling on her. Then one of them has been grooming the sticky fur?
could it be a fur slip?
There was another one on the other side a few weeks back.
She’s a little crankier than usual, but she’s a real diva so she tends to cycle.
they get tons of out of cage playtime, healthy diet, fresh hay and water and sticks and toys. Girls are living the good life.
Does it look like chewing?
Thanks for any advice.

That's not fur chewing. Fur chewing is all uneven and choppy. That looks like it's getting pulled out or she's being overgroomed.
