Finally!

Kokomo had his final checkup on Wednesday to see how his leg had healed, and he's finally good to go! No more exercise restrictions! You wouldn't believe how happy he was to have his saucer back - he hopped back on like a pro! We're so excited for him :dance3:

As you can see, the callous formation is actually over the bone, rather than right within the break, but he's got full use of the leg and they were satisfied with his recovery. For comparison, here are the previous xrays showing his progress.

As far as we can tell, there's no change in his stride - we were told the broken leg may be slightly shorter than the other now, but they weren't concerned as he still uses the legs equally. The only possible difference at the moment is that he may not have quite all the muscle strength back yet, but he's pretty darn close to normal. He's such a happy boy now that his life is back to normal... all his furniture, playtime, dustbaths!
