Do chins eat more in winter?

Hi All,
I was wondering if chins eat more food during winter when it's cooler and I reckon they use more energy to maintain body temperature.

I guess they might if you keep it a lot colder in the winter then you do in the summer, like say keep it only about 10C in your house the winter but 20C in the summer or something. Personally I keep the temp in the room about the same year round so no there is not really any difference in the amount they eat. I do notice he drinks more in the winter though, but then it's also a lot drier in the house in the winter.
