depressed hedgie?

all she does is lay around. right now she is laying in her igloo looking at me. she will get up eat, drink run on her wheel for like 3-5 mins and go right back and lay down. can hedgies get depressed? I don't think she is sick.. she's eating and drinking okay and her poop isnt green, she just acts like she lost her best friend.

What's the temperature in her room? She sounds more like she is either too cool, or even too hot.

Another thought is, what type of wheel do you have? Could it be too small or maybe her feet are sliding too much to make running comfortable? Some won't use their wheel for very long if their feet slide too much. Something you might want to look at.
