Crab apple Branches.

Hi there!

I have a crabapple tree in my backyard that grows wild, no pesticides or chemicals have ever touched it. Are the branches safe to give to my chin
? I know that I can buy applewood sticks as treats but I wasn't sure if crabapple wood made a difference that may make her sick. Looking for a cheaper alternative haha. Thanks!

Crab apple is safe, my guys like it almost as much as other apple. You just need to prepare it, fresh wood is not safe (wood you get from a store or online vendor is already processed), scrub it clean, then boil it, then bake on low temp until dry.
