Hi everyone,

I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and wonder if the company that manufactured the Chin Spin Wheel, went out of business? I’ve looked on Amazon in both the Canadian and US sites to no avail. There’s another version of it on Etsy but I don’t like the fact that it’s all aluminum. Our chinchilla is in our daughter’s room and I’m afraid it will be very noisy. The one that I’d like to get is made by Quality Cage Crafters.

Anyone know where these are available to purchase from these days? 😊

You can buy directly from Quality Cage Crafters website. Chin Spin 15" Chinchilla Exercise Wheel I'm guessing they don't have them on Amazon right now since they are "nonessential" so they can't be held in the warehouses so once the ones in the Amazon warehouses sold that was it for now from Amazon. Just a heads up, the guy that owns Quality Cage Crafters I think is still backed up on orders though, so it might be a month or so before you get your wheel.

Thank you so much for the info. I saw other ones that were simply all aluminum and even though the looked nice and safe, all that ran through my mind was that they would be very, very noisy.

I‘ll definitely order directly from this company. I know that they’ve had to close down during March-May because of the pandemic, so they’re expectedly going to be backlogged.

I've had a Chin Spin for more than 10 years for my chin Ernie. He's always enjoyed running on it and they're very well made. Make sure that you ask for a couple extra sets of bearings as they do go out and need to be replaced, which is relatively easy to do!

Thank you for the information on requesting extra sets of bearings when I order my Chin Spin. 😉

ChinSpin - The Original was made by Quality Cage Co
Quality Cage sold to
Quality Cage "Crafters" Josh is the Owner He changed the wheels design
Try to puchase an older ChinSpin before QCCrafters changed everything Older wheels do not need bearings and needless extras - Josh ruined my wheels!
