Does anyone have any recommendations for chin pellets in New Zealand? I'm on a NZ rat forum and someone just got a chin. It seems the pellet choices are pretty crappy. VitaCrap, Kaytee and something that's made in NZ.

New Zealand made chinchilla pellets from selected grains.
Ingredients selected from:
Wheat, Barley, Bran, Pollard, Soyabean Meal, Lucerne meal, Calcium, Salt, Molasses, Bentonite, and minerals and vitamins
Calculated analysis:
Protein: Target 14% max 17%
Fibre 12% max
Fat 5% max

I'm from New Zealand originally, and I can vouch when I say the general selection of foods there doesn't just suck, it switches itself on reverse and sucks, too. :) Unlabeled shifty hay bags for the win.

But according to Oxbow International, they do sell oxbow there, although you'll probably have to contact their international sales office ([email protected]) to find out more, or at least do a call-around at vet clinics.

Good luck!
