I have a large stockpile of sticks my chin has eaten the bark off of.

I'm trying to figure out a way I can build things with these twigs.
I had the thought that taking cooked oatmeal, blending & thinning it with water to turn it into an edible glue. ???
Could this encourage my chin to eat too much wood and/or oats?

Any suggestions for ways to create my own "edible" glue or mortar for hideouts, bridges, chew toys, and tunnels?

I'm not sure that would be a good idea, not only do I not know if it would hold, I wouldn't want my chin eating too much oats. Oats (rolled oats not quick oats) are ok as a treat, but too much can cause gas and bloat as well as throw off the calcium/phosphorous balance leading to calcium deficiency. Elmers glue is edible, but you still want to use it in small amounts.

Another idea is to drill small holes in the sticks and tread wire through them, like those bendable bridge/tunnel/hideout log things.

There is glue that is edible. Elmer's is and there are others.
