If it's not one thing its another, Ferdinand has gone downhill again after looking up. He is shaking and lethargic. He has been in and out of the vet for gut issues, this piece is new. His vet, adobe has no chinchilla vets on duty and they are the only ones I have found that treat chins. Please if anyone is in the SF bay area and knows of somewhere I can take him please let me know. I'm hand feeding him now, what else can I do, I am extremely worried.

If I was in this situation I would get a appointment at UC Davis emergency vet clinic. Its a bit of a drive but worth it.

I am so sorry. Any time a chin has gut issues it can go very wrong, no matter what treatment is given. Its nothing you did or not do.
