I will be picking up our baby boys this Thursday and I have been monitoring the heat and humidity in the room I will be putting the cage in. The temp is between 63-65 and humidity is between 57 and 64. Is this ok for my new chin babies?

To those who have only 2 chinchillas... How many lbs of loose hay and alfalfa cubes do you buy at a time? How how many lbs of pellets do you buy? I want enough to last at least 3-4 months at a time.

I finally recieved my fn 182 and I purchased fleece to make liners and a hammock. I read that you need to wash the fleece because of shrinkage and to make it absorbant for liners. My question is should you wash the fleece before or after you make the liners?
