    ears down

    hey y’all, my boy Mochis ears go down a lot and i read it’s because they’re protecting themselves because they’re vulnerable due to a health condition. i’m very paranoid. anyone able to explain? he also, at night once every week or so, does the barking sound VERY loud and for about 2 minutes.

    hair ring

    my boy mochi might have a hair ring. i was able to calmly get him by his scruff in order to turn him over and there isn’t a ring but there is something that looks like a flat “clump” on his private parts. it’s so flat i can’t tell if it’s like a mark on it or if it’s fur. i wasn’t able to get it...

    my boy frequently “examines” his privates

    my new chin Mochi is about 6 months - 1 year. i assume he’s around 9 months. i noticed recently that he keeps sitting on his hind legs in order to pay extra attention to his private parts. should i be worried? he also frequently humps my arm which i’m told is normal.

    please help i’m losing sleep because of my chin

    i got a new chinchilla named Mochi about 3 weeks ago. the place i got him at said he was about 6 months to 1 year. at first he was really skittish but only for a few days. he already lets me scratch his chin and under his ears BUT he is so persistent! he does not take any firm “no’s”, light...
