Hi car fly did you bring him back to the vet? My Little guy has this happening too I'm getting him an appointment, he's 13 years old. There no way he can be put under for surgery. I'm just curious if you found out anything

So today I found out my local Tisol got bought out, and now everything costs an arm and a leg. So i am wondering if anyone on here buys in bulk in western canada and doesn't mind sharing? :dance3:

I agree with the above posts. Introducing a female with a bunch of males around is probably not a good idea. My boys never got a long and i had a girl chin in the same room, not to mention they both have huge egos.

I was told by a vet once when my chin chewed up a plastic grocery bag that unlimited hay for a few days is the best. It acts like "sweeper". Glad to say over the years and a couple plastic things later everyone is still alive and happy.

OH he's super cute, look at those little mouse ears! I use a clay pot to put my hay in, and they like to move it around the cage as well. Also good for hot days they sit near it.

Yep, my boy did that all the time in his prime. Very cute. Maybe recheck your chin to see if its a boy???

Rosco is home! He had some bad spurs on his teeth. Dr cut them off no infection. No drooling yet, and eating cc pretty well. He's on baytril and meta cam for 5 days.

So the vet took xrays. Said there is slight elongation of the teeth into the jaw. lower left teeth are a little longer than normal. Also a black spot in his back molar that could be an infection. They are putting him under anastesia to take a look. He is six years old I hope he comes out of it...

Edit to above post: mother decided she is staying friday and saturday at my house. I guess I can't make it anyway...

yea getting him new xrays definately. thanks for the thoughts. Im glad hes been able to live comfortably for the last couple years. I just know putting him on metacam is the beginning of the end. Its hard to think about.
