    Crazy chilla story

I totally agree. The problem with the couch was that every side was open about an inch or two. And it had the mechanisms underneath so the footrest would spring up. And yes, I panicked myself to where I was literally sick to my stomach. You should totally make a thread on escape preparedness! I...

    Crazy chilla story

Okay, so tonight was a scary but hilarious event. I was going about my business, cleaning out her cage-the usual. I closed her cage doors and left to do my thing. A few hours later,my chihuahua started to growl and bark. I was like what? So my mom walks into the room where we keep chili, and...

    Rescue Advice

I know this could be crazy, but if you have the financial means and the space and dedication, why not adopt them both? Give them both a good home. But I'm sure you'll choose whats right for you :)

    New Chin Mom!

He's a cute one! Definitely get rid of the pine cone, it may be dangerous for him! Let him settle in for 2-3 days. Add in lots of toys and fresh food, water, and timothy hay. Dont try to mess with him for a few days so he can settle in. Put a blanket over the cage so he can be alone. He's a cutie!

    impaction

Hi! Just make sure she gets PLENTY of water, as it will soften up and break down on its own. Get lots of water down and you can massage her belly if she'll let you. That may "move" it around. I hope your little chin gets better!

    No poop all day!

Interesting approach! But yes, definitely put him in a new area. If he poos hes fine, but if he dosent then off he goes to the vet! :temp:

    Cage Ideas

Thank you for the idea! The only reason I kept it in there is because I didnt want her to pee directly on the brass pans. Will the pans withstand her pee?

    Cage Ideas

Hi! I have a fleece hanging cube-bed thing for her if thats what you mean. The Bass Pans arrived yesterday. I don't have any fleece liners for her besides a blanket that I folded and put in there. The only major issue is that the blanket has thread on the ends. I check it daily to ensure no...
