So, if the chinchillas are already being fed a high quality pellet, timothy hay and reverse osmosis water what else would you do to boost the immune system? Wouldn't a high quality pellet already have all of the vitamins they should need?

I have a chinchilla that would get just that little crust in the corner of one eye. It didn't ever get any worse and as an adult he outgrew it. I tried triple antibiotic eye ointment and that would clear it up for a couple of days and then the crust would come back. Now he doesn't get it anymore.
