Don't put objects in a chin's ears. You can clean grimy stuff on the outside of the ear with an edible oil like corn oil or jojoba oil. I'd stay away from mineral oil. Don't stick a q-tip in the ear unless there is a real reason to do it.

I just ordered some pans but I can always order more. I go through a lot of pans, the rust and I replace them. 10 years without having to replace a pan sounds good to me! I sometimes get 5 years out of the galvanized steel pans I normally get. I need a rather large pan at 43.5"x17.5"x2.5"...

I can't see why it would be poisonous. As long as it isn't treated with something and is food grade and maybe organic, that would probably be alright in a small amount as a treat.

I agree! She's learning how to be a good pet chinnie again. More good food and more dust baths should do the trick. :)

Hope it is! :) I had to fill up her dish again a few minutes ago. She has decided she is going to eat! I'm just glad that I got her when I did. Another month or so and this wouldn't have been so easy.

On Sunday I picked up a rescue chin, who came from the Humane Society in Phoenix. Friends of mine picked her up for me since my trip to Phoenix on Sunday had 20 stops in it! The owners of this chin surrendered her because she had tooth problems. I'm guessing that meant that they believed...
