    Outside Fleece cover for FN

    Large pieces of Wood

    I have read all the info about what woods are safe and how to prepare them but I am wondering what everyone does with the larger pieces. I have some larger branches I would like to use as ledges but the obviously won't fit in the oven.

    Containing the Hay

    Does anyone have any good ideas for containing the hay in their cage? I have been using a terra cotta pot but my chins seem to spread the hay all over the level that I have it on. Makes for quite the mess when I clean the cages.

    Wood Ledges

    I am planning to build a bunch of ledges myself and would like to put edging around the outside edges. Should I use dowels or screws to put the edging on?

    Fleece on Outside of Cage

    I've seen a few pics of peoples cages that have fleece along the back and/or sides on the outside. I was thinking this would be a good way to eliminate the poop and straw mine seem to shoot out of their cage. I'm just a bit worried that it would get to hot being closed in on three sides...

    Wood Sticks

    I have an apple tree, crabapple tree and a plum tree. I am pretty sure that the apple ones are okay for chins but unsure of the plum. Do I need to do anything to it before I can give it to them? It is already dry since it was dead pieces I pruned off. Thanks.
